I would like to personally thank Louis Carr for the tremendous opportunity afforded to me. Through the Louis Carr Foundation I was able to first-handedly experience corporate culture in a field that I want to potentially work in. Through this internship I was able to garner knowledge about advertising, marketing, corporate communications and management. However, I also bolstered my knowledge of  transferrable skills such as speaking more eloquently, interacting with management and writing more effectively  that I can take back with me to Northwestern and post-graduate studies. I was able to spend 6 weeks with GlobalHue in which I interacted with some of the most forefront thought leaders and innovators in advertising, marketing and social media. At GlobalHue I had to do extensive ethnographic research into untapped communities such as African American and Hispanic American targets, as well as present a final project to both the New York and Detroit offices. These experiences were unmatched in terms of networking, learning opportunities and personal development.  Once again, thank you Mr.Carr.
